Building upon the development of our Trust Primary Curriculum Specialists, this PLC brings our Curriculum Leaders together to share best practice, research, national updates and consider next steps for both their own school and Transform.
With the reforms to the Early Years Statutory Framework, the revised Development Matters and greater focus on practitioner knowledge and expertise, this PLC will enable Early Years Leads and teams to work through the changes together.
With an increase in technology use across our schools, this PLC will work to ensure its effective use in classrooms.
Science is a core subject whose leadership we have been developing as a Trust.
These sessions will continue to focus on embedding best practice across school through the sharing of key research & ideas and collaborating as a group of English Leads.
These sessions will focus on the further embedding of best practice across a school. Maths Leads will come together to work as a community to develop ideas collaboratively.
The aim of the lead TA PLC is to enable those leading/representing teaching and learning support staff to build positive professional relationships and develop collaboratively with peers across the Trust.
As a Trust, it is important that there is a shared understanding of good practice for assessment. These briefings are aimed at school assessment leaders.
Open to all members of the Y3 teaching team, we will be exploring the joys and tricky bits of teaching this crucial year at the start of Key Stage 2.
Supporting our Transform Early Career teachers is a core focus for the Trust and we would like to continue this support with our third year teachers.

With a greater emphasis on the right curriculum and highly skilled staff, who understand child development and early years pedagogy, we shall focus on the fundamentals of effective Early Years practice, including quality interactions.
The PLC will also work together to moderate our judgments around typicality and support practitioners to deepen their knowledge of this in the new framework.
