Global Citizenship

  • Online Zoom session From Transform Trust, Unit 11, Castlebridge Office Village, Kirtley Drive Nottingham NG7 1LD United Kingdom (map)

Summary

Developing children’s understanding of themselves within a larger, more diverse global community.

In an increasingly connected world, it is important that we develop children’s understanding of themselves within a larger, more diverse global community.

Andy Fisher, from the University of Nottingham, uses his approach to Philosophy for Children to explore Global Citizenship and supports staff in planning sequences of learning that will encourage children to reflect on their impact as global citizens. Delegates will explore big questions and consider ways to use these across the curriculum.
