This Programme focuses on understanding behaviour in the classroom order to be able to more effectively manage it.
As education professionals we have a statutory responsibility for managing behaviour so that our children and staff feel safe and secure at school. It is our jobs, as practitioners, to be able to effectively manage disruptive behaviour so that high quality teaching and learning can take place.
What it includes
Our Behaviour CPD will be split into 3 online sessions suitable for teachers and support staff at all stages in their career.
The sessions will be informative, interactive and offer opportunities for reflection and include strategies that can be used back in school.
The session content includes:
Understanding behaviour in order to be able to more effectively manage it
Implement strategies based on a behaviour curriculum made up of the 3 Rs – routines, responses and relationship
And the importance of the learning environment as a tool for managing behaviour
