About the event
This element of the offer is modular and schools/individuals can opt for all sessions or for selected sessions only. Each module has 2 sessions.
-
Being at our Best is crucial for effective performance in all roles as well as feeling fulfilled at work. Being at our best as a team can be challenging with differing needs and styles. But a good team is amazing to work in!
These 2 sessions provide a framework for constructive dialogue within teams. The structure means that you attend as a team and the facilitators provide prompts for a conversation between you using key ideas and models that have proved useful in team engagement and dialogue.
Across the 2 sessions you will be able to explore where, as a team you are already strong and need to continue and the areas where you might need to make different or adjusted choices.
You might be a new team; an existing team who wants to get even better; a team where you need to change how you show up with each other.

This session is designed to focus on how we confidently and clearly articulate our approach to curriculum, subject and pedagogy. There will be a focus on how we articulate our intent, implementation and impact and how we might respond to deep dive or Quality Assurance questions. There will be a focus on the knowledge and language we might use to give clear and considered responses to why this, why now?
-
Delivery can be easy if we are tempted to "do it ourselves" or want things done in specific ways. Delivery gets harder if we involve other people! So, the concept of delivery through others is the key idea behind these 2 sessions. How do we empower and engage others to get the job done!
Through the use of a sequence of conversations we explore how to develop the many dialogues that are involved in the delivery of work, projects and activities through others. Exploring the myths and assumptions that can be made in our dialogues can be incredibly helpful in delivering well and first time. In the sessions we will unpick your dialogue habits, patterns and strengths and practice ways to improve these conversations (And also ensure clear and kind interactions that feel OK and have impact!).
-
How many of us have conversations that we wish we didn't have to have or conversations that we skirt around and avoid? Based on the number of requests we get for this topic – it happens to us all!
These two sessions are specifically designed to develop the skills, structure and confidence to face these tricky and difficult conversations.
We will explore what makes these conversations difficult, the aspects that we generally avoid. There will be opportunity to discuss how you can prepare for tricky conversations and helpful structures to ensure that you say what is needed with clarity and kindness in order to maintain your relationships in the process of undertaking difficult conversations. This module runs alongside Conversations for Delivery, so it is worth considering attending both these modules in order to explore the wider context of difficult conversations
